Metallographic Polishing Lubricant
This product is a lubricating and cooling fluid specifically designed for metallographic sample preparation, serving dual purposes in both fine grinding with sandpaper and polishing. It effectively lubricates, cools, removes chips, and prevents sample corrosion, while minimizing scratches and surface deformation to enhance sample preparation efficiency and surface quality.
Product Introduction
How to Use
During fine sanding with sandpaper
Spray or drip lubricant onto the sandpaper to keep it moist, replenishing as you grind and promptly flushing away the abrasive debris to prevent clogging of the sandpaper and overheating or rusting of the test specimen.
During the polishing process
Use in conjunction with polishing cloths and diamond polishing fluids or pastes, applying them drop by drop in small amounts to keep the polishing cloth slightly moist. This provides lubrication and cooling, enhances surface finish, and protects the specimen.
After it ends
Rinse the sample thoroughly with clean water, then blow it dry or wipe it dry.
