City Leaders Visit Laizhou Weiyi for Inspection and Research

On the morning of May 18, 2022, Qiu Zhaoming, Vice Mayor of the Laizhou Municipal Party Committee; Zhu Along, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology; and Dr. Jiang Zan from the Asia Investment Think Tank visited Laizhou Weiyi for an inspection and research tour.
The city leader inquired of Vice President Yang Weiyi about the company’s production performance during the pandemic, specifically whether production, domestic and international sales, and service operations had been affected.
During the field visit, Mayor Qiu fully commended Weiyi’s achievements in products and services. He emphasized that Weiyi should continue to strengthen its service offerings and intensify innovation and R&D efforts, thereby further consolidating its existing customer base while actively expanding into new markets.
In the area of research and development, Vice President Yang Wei of Weiyi briefed the city leaders on the company’s efforts in attracting and cultivating talent, for which the leaders commended Weiyi’s visionary approach. During the discussion, Mayor Qiu remarked: “At its core, competition among enterprises is competition for talent. Only by prioritizing talent can a company remain resilient and unfazed in the face of any challenges.”
