Metallographic Image Analysis System

The metallographic analysis software was developed by materials science experts in our organization’s Software Engineering Department. The “Professional Quantitative Metallographic Image Analysis Computer Operating System” configured within the metallographic image analysis system processes acquired sample images and performs real-time comparison, inspection, grading, analysis, statistical evaluation, and generation of illustrated reports. The software integrates state-of-the-art image analysis technologies, achieving a seamless integration of metallographic microscopy and intelligent analytical techniques. System measurements and assessment results are rapid and accurate, fully compliant with national standards (GB) and other relevant industry standards (JB/YB/HB/QC/DL/DJ/ASTM, etc.). The entire system features a Chinese-language interface that is concise, clear, and easy to use; with minimal training or by simply referring to the user manual, operators can perform tasks with ease. Moreover, the software provides a quick and efficient means for learning basic metallographic knowledge and promoting widespread adoption of proper operating procedures.

Product Introduction

Main functions:

Image editing software: more than ten functions, including image acquisition and image storage;

Image software: more than ten functions, including image enhancement and image overlay;

Image measurement software: dozens of measurement functions, including perimeter, area, and percentage content;

Grain size measurement and rating (grain boundary extraction, grain boundary reconstruction, single-phase, dual-phase, grain size measurement, rating);

Measurement and rating of non-metallic inclusions (including sulfides, oxides, silicates, etc.);

Measurement and grading of pearlite and ferrite content; measurement and grading of graphite spheroidization rate in ductile cast iron;

Measurement of decarburized and carburized layers; measurement of surface coating thickness.

Weld Penetration Measurement

Phase–area measurement in ferritic and austenitic stainless steels;

It includes metallographic atlas images for nearly 470 commonly used metallic materials, meeting the requirements of metallographic analysis and inspection in the vast majority of organizations.

In view of the continuous introduction of new materials and imported grades, materials and assessment criteria that have not yet been entered into the software can be customized and added.

3. 3-megapixel HD digital camera; 4. 0.5× adapter lens interface;

5. Image-specific micrometer scale, graduation: 0.01 mm.
