The MoPao®3 automatic grinding and polishing machine is a single-disc benchtop model—a next-generation, high-precision, automated sample-preparation system manufactured in accordance with international standards and employing state-of-the-art process technologies. Equipped with a microprocessor-based control system, it enables stepless adjustment of the rotational speeds of both the grinding/polishing disc and the grinding/polishing head, while allowing intuitive and convenient setting of sample-preparation pressure and duration. The MoPao® Model 3 automatic grinding and polishing machine is a single-disc benchtop unit—a next-generation, high-precision, automated sample-preparation system manufactured in accordance with international standards and employing state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies.
This machine is equipped with a microprocessor control system that enables stepless adjustment of the rotational speeds of the grinding and polishing discs and heads, as well as intuitive and convenient setting of sample preparation pressure and duration. Operators can complete the grinding and polishing processes simply by changing the grinding/polishing disc or the abrasive paper and fabric, thereby enhancing the machine’s versatility. The equipment features freely selectable rotation directions for the grinding/polishing discs, quick-change disc replacement, a multi-sample holder with pneumatic single-point loading, and automatic abrasive delivery (with an optional liquid dispenser). It also boasts smooth operation, high safety and reliability, low noise, and a cast-aluminum base that enhances rigidity during grinding and polishing. Additionally, the machine is fitted with a water-cooling system and abrasive-removal spray nozzles, which cool the specimen during grinding to prevent overheating from damaging the metallographic structure and continuously flush away abrasive particles; paired with a fiberglass-reinforced plastic housing and stainless-steel standard components, it offers an aesthetically pleasing appearance, improved corrosion and rust resistance, and easy cleaning.
