  The IQIEGE-7100D is a professional, large-scale metallographic sampling machine and also a heavy-duty metallographic preparation system specifically designed for handling oversized specimens. It is primarily used for cutting samples of metals, ceramics, composite materials, and petrographic specimens. Its unique extra-large working space accommodates a wide range of large specimens, with the standout feature being its exceptionally spacious cutting chamber—particularly its extended cutting length of up to 1,200 mm—which fills the gap left by conventional cutters that cannot handle long-length workpieces. This makes it especially well-suited for cutting battery casing materials in the new-energy industry, as it maximizes the preservation of the true microstructure of the sample and meets the stringent inspection requirements of sectors such as new-energy battery casings. The machine supports both manual and automatic operation modes, offers three cutting methods, and features real-time spindle-height adjustment. Combined with pulse-cutting functionality, a 3-kW motor, and a spindle speed of 2,800 rpm, it can efficiently process even the most challenging materials.
