This model of Rockwell hardness tester features a high-definition 8-inch touchscreen and a highly integrated opto-electro-mechanical design. It employs a precision stepper motor to automatically apply, hold, and release the test force. The measured hardness values are automatically calculated by the built-in software and displayed on the screen, and the system can also automatically generate data curves for each set of test results. The instrument is equipped with a built-in printer as well as RS-232, Ethernet, and USB interfaces, greatly facilitating the printing and export of test data. The touchscreen human–machine interface boasts a simple and aesthetically pleasing layout with clear, easy-to-understand icons, enabling quick setting of required test parameters such as indenter type, test force, and force-holding time. 1. Set the hardness test range: Based on the required hardness specifications for the workpiece, define the upper and lower limits of the test; this allows for a more intuitive assessment of whether the workpiece meets the hardness criteria (black display indicates compliance, while red display indicates non-compliance).
2. Load-process time monitoring: If no test workpiece is loaded or the start button is accidentally pressed, the system will automatically stop the loading process after a preset timeout to prevent damage to the equipment.
3. Initial Test Force Progress Bar: During manual operation, as soon as the specimen contacts the indenter, the screen immediately displays the initial test force progress bar, thereby preventing excessive application of the initial test force and reducing testing errors.
4. Three hardness conversion standards: The instrument is equipped with three built-in hardness conversion standards—Chinese National Standard, European Standard, and American Standard. 5. Multi-point test data analysis: The test interface displays real-time analysis results for multi-point testing, including the number of tests, the highest and lowest values in the current group, the average value, and the standard deviation, thereby enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of hardness testing.
6. Multi-point Test Line Chart: The test interface displays a real-time line chart for multi-point testing and allows users to set hardness limits, facilitating the identification of points where hardness exceeds the specified range. When performing multi-point testing without setting upper or lower limits, the vertical axis automatically adjusts its scale, making the dynamic line chart clearer and easier to interpret.
7. Network Connectivity: The hardness tester can connect to a cloud server via Ethernet, enabling remote sharing of hardness test data. This facilitates historical data retrieval, timely identification of hardness defects, and corrective action on production processes.
8. Real-time and Historical Data Upload: Test data can be uploaded to a smartphone via Bluetooth or to a computer via Ethernet cable. Data upload can be configured to occur after each individual test point or after each complete test set.
9. Test Data Printing: Test data can be printed via the built-in printer or a Bluetooth printer, or it can be exported to a computer and printed using a connected printer.
